"Cities are erected on spiritual columns. Like giant mirrors they reflect the hearts of their residents. If those hearts darken and lose faith, cities will lose their glamour." ~ Shams-I-Tabrizi (1145-1248)
I am not the hardiest, most gung-ho bicyclist. You could call me a fair weather rider. I mostly skip the snow, ice, rain and really cold days. But spring is coming and I have already seized the opportunity to leave the car at home and pedal the 10 miles to work and back. First time was last week, when it hit the 60’s in the afternoon. Today, I set out early, leaving enough time to stop and cast a vote before continuing the ride to work. It wasn’t a perfect day for riding.
